| Q1. Does the natural filtration system use power? | A1. No. As the filters have no moving parts and rely on air moving through them, you will actually save power as the motors need to run less time. |
| Q2. Do the filters work outside refrigerated areas? | A2. Unfortunately they don't work above 13 degrees Celsius. This means they work very well in refrigerators and freezers |
| Q3. Who will fix our fridge when we have problems? | A3. Whilst the filters will reduce wear and tear on motors and therefore reduce breakdowns over the longer term, inevitably they will still occur. When this happens simply call or email Crispy Fridge (0755632492 or info@crispyfridge.com.au) and we will organize the most appropriate specialist to attend to you under our strict Alliance program. |
| Q4. Do we need to buy the filters? | A4. No. You won't need to have any capital expenditure at all. We have bought many filters which we rent to you on a monthly basis. Our monthly rental includes service on a set day each month so that we can monitor your cool room and continually advise the best number of filters for your needs. |
| Q5. How are the filters fitted to the cool room? | A5. So that no damage is done to your cool room, we magnetize brackets to the ceiling and slide the filters into position. This also enables us to adjust the position in the cool room to optimize the results and to suit your particular needs and storage requirements. |
| Q6. How do we know they are working? | A6 In most cool rooms you will notice the temperature to feel cooler and remain constantly cool and crisp. You will also notice your produce lasting longer and in your accounts you will notice over time that your food costs are reducing relative to sales. This is due to less wastage.
Some things that you won't see include absorbing up to 99% of acetic acid gases, significantly reducing coil deterioration and increasing coil life expectancy. Acetic acid gases are mainly released into the refrigerated environment from sources such as vinaigrettes and cleaning chemicals. |
| Q7. How much will I pay per month? | A7. This depends on how many cool rooms you have, their size and use. We have clients who pay as little as $35 per month and others that have 30 cool rooms that pay more than $1000 per month. We will be happy to visit and quote free of charge. |
